Meet Our Speakers and Honorees
Aulona Graham Simms, Executive Director of The She League, Inc., will be our emcee for the 2025 Legacy of Love Brunch.
Aulona Graham Simms
Aulona Graham-Simms is the Senior Community Affairs Coordinator at Gas South, where she spearheads the company’s volunteer initiatives and oversees its philanthropic partnerships. Under her leadership, Gas South’s employee volunteer program has seen remarkable growth, with over 750 hours dedicated to enhancing the Atlanta, GA and Gainesville, FL communities.

A dedicated advocate for community engagement, Aulona has played a pivotal role in transforming Gas South’s approach to volunteerism, significantly expanding its impact. Her commitment to fostering meaningful community relationships is evident in her work to eliminate barriers and amplify the efforts of supported organizations. She was instrumental in facilitating the company’s partnership with 100 Black Men of Atlanta securing an $250,000 sponsorship for the organization.
Aulona earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and her Master of Business Administration in Organizational Management from Georgia State University. As the Executive Director of the She League, she champions the advancement of minority women in corporate America. Her strategic approach to fundraising has secured $25,000 in corporate sponsorships, demonstrating her ability to build relationships and align organizational goals with funding opportunities. Additionally, she contributes to the Georgia State Young Alumni Council, reflecting her ongoing commitment to both her alma mater and the broader community.

The 2025 Legacy of Love Brunch features a distinguished panel of inspiring leaders who will share their personal stories of the beauty and challenges of juggling personal and professional responsibilities while making a lasting impact. Our panelists will speak on resilience and success, with perspectives from men and women on how our community can better support women of color as we continue to be pillars in our families and communities. With backgrounds in education, social entrepreneurship, and corporate leadership, these remarkable speakers will offer valuable insights into their journeys and the challenges they face every day.

Berto “TPG” Horne is a Detroit native and Morehouse Man known for curating elevated lifestyle experiences that merge culture, community, and premium brand storytelling. As founder of The Perfect Gentleman, he partnered with brands like Mercedes-Benz, David Yurman, and the High Museum of Art, and appeared on Aspire TV’s The Graduates ATL.
Berto Horne
Berto “TPG” Horne is a Detroit native and Morehouse Man known for curating elevated lifestyle experiences that merge culture, community, and premium brand storytelling. As founder of The Perfect Gentleman, he partnered with brands like Mercedes-Benz, David Yurman, and the High Museum of Art, and appeared on Aspire TV’s The Graduates ATL.
He serves as Hospitality Manager at RenderATL, the Southeast’s largest tech conference, where he leads curated experiences for sponsors and VIP guests. He also works as Strategic Lead for Membership & Partnerships at Retreat by The Gathering Spot, helping expand the brand through premium member acquisition and strategic partnerships.
In April 2025, Berto launched Gentle Life, a lifestyle essentials brand rooted in intentional living. He is also the creator of Elevated by TPG, a dining residency at Palo Santo, with partners including Atlanta United and the Mayor’s Office of Atlanta.
Morgan Kokaram

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Morgan McClure Kokaram, Esq., is a passionate community leader and attorney in the Atlanta area. Morgan currently serves as Corporate Counsel at Veritiv. Prior to transitioning in-house, Morgan practiced corporate transactional law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and venture capital, at Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP and Greenberg Traurig LLP. Morgan has also gained experience as a transactional Entertainment Attorney with her family’s film and television production company, RodFather Productions.

Morgan is the founder & CEO of The She League, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating access, exposure, and opportunity for rising and established women of color in corporate and entrepreneurship. Through The She League’s programs and initiatives, The She League leads networking opportunities, mentorship opportunities, career development workshops, and leadership development programs.
Morgan holds a BBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida (CO’17), where she was recently recognized as a University of Miami Alumni Association 30 under 30 award recipient. Due to her interest in policy, advocacy and civic engagement Morgan attended Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC (JD’20).
Morgan currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two (going on three) kids!
Kriis Alyse Wilson

Kriis Alyse Wilson is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 16 years of experience spanning culinary arts, fine dining, front-of-house management, food writing, alcohol distribution sales, and wine education. With a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts Management & Hospitality, Kriis began her career in the kitchen before transitioning to leadership roles that deepened her passion for wine.

She holds WSET Level II and Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) credentials, and is a WSET Level III candidate for Fall 2025, qualifications that have equipped her with a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the beverage industry.
As the founder and CEO of The Collective Unlimited, Kriis is dedicated to elevating industry standards and consumer education in wine and hospitality. She is widely regarded as a dynamic educator, engaging speaker, and trusted consultant, known for leveraging her strategic thinking skills to help businesses streamline operations, enhance guest experiences, and grow with
intention.
Kriis is a passionate mentor, serving as a Roots Fund Mentor and FlourisHER Mentor Chair (raising ’25-’26 President) at The She League. She is an active member of the Atlanta chapters of The Hue Society and serves as Philanthropy Chair for Les Dames d’Escoffier International. Her commitment to community impact extends to global mission work and advocacy against
human trafficking.
Based in Atlanta, Kriis continues to inspire and educate, bridging the gap between hospitality professionals and consumers through impactful training programs, curated experiences, strategic consulting, and thought-provoking speaking engagements.

Ashley’s unwavering passion for equity in cultural diversity is a guiding principle that shapes all aspects of her life. Professionally, she manages impactful research programs at Google, where she has supported over $20 million in global research projects addressing significant societal issues through technology. Her personal life is equally rich, as a proud wife of 11 years to Brandon Gardner and a devoted mother to their two beautiful children, Harper and Sage. Understanding the demands of modern life, Ashley founded Growing With The Gardners, a social media brand that shares helpful tips for full-time working mothers, beauty advice, and her experiences as a caregiver to a child on the autism spectrum, while always highlighting the crucial role of self-care. Grounded in service and sisterhood, Ashley is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the Poised Peaches, an official interest group serving Midtown East Atlanta. Through her multifaceted contributions, Ashley is dedicated to creating a more just and equitable future for all.

Kirk Brown is the Chief Development and Communications Officer at the Ron Clark Academy, where he leads fundraising, partnerships, and strategic communications. Over his 17-year career, he has raised more than $80 million, including a $5 million donation from Oprah Winfrey—the largest single gift in the academy’s history.

He is a co-founder of the Emerging 100 of Atlanta, which has inducted more than 100 young professional men and awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships to support young Black students in metro Atlanta.
Brown also served on Airbnb, Inc.’s Host Advisory Board for the 2022 and 2023 terms, helping shape global host policy and initiatives for the Fortune 500 company.
His accolades include being named to Georgia State University’s inaugural 40 Under 40 list, Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 list, recognized as a “Leader in Academia” in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta, and a proud graduate of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2025.
